Work Environment\n

This position allows for a fully remote work environment, providing flexibility for our clinicians to balance their professional commitments while supporting clients in a school setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services, including individual and group therapy, to students experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and/or severe emotional disorders.

• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and assessments to identify the specific needs of each client.
\n
• Develop, implement, and monitor integrated care plans to ensure clients have access to necessary linked services.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings and clinical supervision, advancing common goals through collaboration and communication.

• Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring that therapy sessions are tailored to meet the presenting problems and individual needs of students.

• Engage in crisis intervention services, providing immediate support and follow-up for at-risk clients.
\n
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress towards goals, ensuring compliance with all ethical and regulatory guidelines.

• Actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in committees aimed at enhancing agency service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves children and adolescents within school environments, addressing a wide range of psychological challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and behavioral problems. The LCSW will work closely with clients, families, and school staff to create supportive treatment plans that foster emotional resilience and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut is mandatory.
