This full-time position operates in a remote capacity, allowing for a flexible workplace that prioritizes work-life balance while effectively serving our patients. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to accommodate patient scheduling and needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for older adults, integrating their unique challenges related to health, cognitive abilities, and social dynamics.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of each patient, considering factors such as cognitive decline and physical health.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy, tailored to assist elderly patients in managing psychiatric conditions effectively.

• Work collaboratively with geriatric psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care, ensuring optimal mental health outcomes for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and on-demand support for elderly patients experiencing mental health emergencies, guiding them through immediate challenges.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources to foster understanding and involvement.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions, aligned with legal requirements and association guidelines.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC is required.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
