Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside Health Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate dynamic group sessions where clients connect, share, and learn from one another in a safe and supportive space.

• Individual Therapy: Conduct personalized counseling sessions that allow clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to develop coping strategies and actionable plans for their care.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create tailored, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools to track client outcomes and engage in regular evaluations to adapt treatment plans when necessary.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team of mental health professionals to coordinate care and consult on complex cases, ensuring the best possible client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. This population often requires specialized attention, and your role is to foster resilience and provide strategies that encourage long-term recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current Massachusetts licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in good standing.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport effectively with clients.

• Experience in therapy modalities relevant to young adults, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working within outpatient mental health settings.

• Familiarity with PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) treatment models.

Compensation and Benefits\n
