Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify students' emotional, social, and financial needs and collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals for holistic care.

• Provide individual and group counseling tailored to students facing adjustment challenges, grief, or other emotional issues, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

• Facilitate connections with community resources for services post-discharge, ensuring that students and families receive the required support for continued health and education.

• Offer educational workshops and resources to families about treatment options, mental health awareness, and available community support networks.
\n
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) regarding the psychological and social needs of students.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families in critical situations, ensuring safety and immediate care.

• Document care activities in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with hospital policies and legal standards regarding patient confidentiality.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
