Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews to understand the unique needs of each patient.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic goals, cultural considerations, and measurable outcomes.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention services, effectively coordinating care with other healthcare professionals for patients in acute distress to ensure they receive the necessary support.

• Maintain meticulous and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, while adhering to clinic policies and legal regulations.

• Empower clients and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with essential skills and tools to manage mental health conditions effectively.

• Collaborate continuously with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to facilitate comprehensive care and positive patient outcomes.

• Regularly conduct outcome assessments to gauge the effectiveness of treatment and make necessary adjustments that support client progress.

• Stay informed of current research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health treatment to enhance clinical skills and improve patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is mandatory.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team while also thriving in an independent work environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, including specific modalities such as CBT and DBT, will be given priority. Compensation and Benefits\n
