Work Environment\n

This position operates within a supportive outpatient clinic setting that offers a remote work environment. Our flexible workplace is strategically designed to meet the needs of both staff and patients, allowing for adaptability in scheduling, primarily during Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Given that we cater to trauma survivors, the emphasis is placed on maintaining a nurturing atmosphere that prioritizes psychological safety.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, facilitating the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Implement various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to aid patients in trauma processing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to develop coping strategies and promote emotional healing through shared experiences and therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and appropriate care pathways.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping strategies, enhancing understanding and support systems.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in adherence with legal and ethical standards, encouraging accountability and compliance.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to remain abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We primarily serve clients impacted by various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population consists of adults and adolescents who seek professional guidance to navigate their healing journey. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing meaningful support and interventions that address the unique challenges faced by trauma survivors.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Tennessee.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions effectively.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and empathetic approach.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring efficacy in therapeutic interactions.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, capable of working well within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing clinical supervision to interns or less-experienced therapists is an asset.

• Previous involvement in community outreach programs related to mental health is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 104,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
