Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote setting, allowing professionals to maintain a work-life balance while delivering critical mental health support. Our outpatient facility operates on from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary to accommodate patient needs. As a part of a progressive team, you will collaborate virtually with colleagues and specialists to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, fostering an inclusive and supportive team dynamic.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify trauma histories and the most effective treatment modalities for patients.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience building, and targeted therapeutic objectives.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and structured environment for processing trauma and developing coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available therapeutic resources within the community.

• Maintain meticulous and secure patient documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities and stay updated on emerging research and best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster a collaborative atmosphere for shared knowledge and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus includes serving trauma survivors with diverse backgrounds who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients may vary in age, gender, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status, emphasizing the need for cultural competency and individualized care tailored to each client's unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health services is preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Proficient understanding and practical experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team while also being self-directed in a remote work setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in remote therapy delivery using virtual communication platforms.

• Expertise in using EHR systems for patient documentation and scheduling.
\n
• Previous involvement in clinical supervision or mentoring of less experienced colleagues is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
