Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, enabling the development of tailored treatment approaches that prioritize individual recovery goals.

• Design and execute personalized treatment plans focusing on nurturing resilience and promoting emotional healing through structured therapeutic methodologies.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including specialized techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to ensure effective support for trauma processing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enabling patients to explore their trauma narratives, cultivate coping strategies, and seek emotional resolution.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive and cohesive care, ensuring each patient receives all necessary support.

• Assist in crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, addressing immediate mental health needs with sensitivity and speed.

• Provide educational resources to patients and their families, informing them about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available support services.

• Maintain precise and confidential records in compliance with all ethical and legal standards, ensuring accuracy in electronic health record (EHR) documentation.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, contributing to case consultations and team discussions focused on enhancing trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Strong foundation in the principles of trauma-informed care, with familiarity regarding trauma-related disorders and resilience-driven treatment modalities.

• Exceptional skills in interpersonal communication, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.

• The ability to stay composed in challenging situations and foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and computer applications necessary for the efficient documentation of patient information.

• A collaborative attitude, complementing our multidisciplinary team approach to mental health care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably focused on trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
