Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct secure, confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families using videoconferencing and digital tools. \n Perform thorough assessments to grasp clients' relational dynamics and develop tailored treatment plans with measurable progress goals. \n Apply family systems theory and systemic interventions to address issues such as communication breakdown, relational tensions, and family stressors. \n Provide immediate support during crises, employing effective intervention strategies to maintain client and family safety. \n Document all client interactions by maintaining accurate electronic records, progress notes, and treatment plans in accord with legal and ethical standards. \n Educate clients on effective communication methods, conflict resolution techniques, and coping strategies that will strengthen their relationships. \n Engage in regular consultation with a virtual team of therapists to integrate best practices in client care. \n Stay current with advancements in marriage and family therapy through ongoing professional development and participation in relevant training programs. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n You will support a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing personal challenges, couples navigating relational difficulties, and families in crisis. Your therapeutic approach will cater to various backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and cultural contexts, providing a safe space where clients can unpack their experiences and work toward positive change. Qualifications\n \n Must possess current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the applicable jurisdiction. \n A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required. \n A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling or therapy role, with a focus on marriage and family therapy. \n Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective virtual interactions. \n Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical therapeutic practices. \n Self-motivated, able to work independently, while also collaborating with a team across various platforms. \n Flexibility in scheduling is important to accommodate clients in different time zones. \n Preferred Experience\n While experience in providing remote therapy services is preferred, it is not mandatory.
