Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Active Texas SLP License required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Prior experience in school-based settings; early childhood experience highly valued
• Skilled in performing speech and language evaluations, setting IEP goals, and delivering both direct and indirect therapy
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with special education teams, classroom staff, administrators, and families
• Excellent organization and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language assessments, therapy sessions, and IEP development/support within an elementary setting
• Work closely with staff and families to promote student progress and advocate for student needs
• Develop and implement individualized strategies for speech and language intervention
• Keep thorough records of student progress to inform instructional planning and IEP meetings
• Remain onsite during school hours, adhering to a 40-hour full-time schedule
