Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver tailored mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients seeking to alleviate stress and promote emotional well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to discover clients' individual challenges, stressors, and objectives, customizing mindfulness practices to fit their unique needs.
\n
• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques designed to enhance self-awareness and emotional balance.
\n
• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes that cover mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies.

• Incorporate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions to directly address clients' specific mental health concerns, thus supporting their overall growth and healing.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment approach that integrates mindfulness with other therapeutic methodologies.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions employed, and treatment plans to ensure effective follow-up and care continuity.

• Participate in regular personal mindfulness practices and professional development activities to deepen expertise and stay updated on mindfulness-based therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Proven experience in delivering mindfulness-based interventions is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for creating a supportive and calming environment for clients.

• Ability to engage clients with empathy and understanding to foster trust in the therapeutic alliance.

Preferred Experience\n

• Some training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions with a focus on mindfulness techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role is competitive, with a salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
