Counselors will work Monday through Friday, free from evening and weekend shifts, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Highland Rivers, your primary focus will be providing comprehensive mental health services to young adults aged 18 to 30. You will:

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that create a safe space for clients to share experiences and foster peer support.

• Offer individualized therapy sessions that are tailored to meet the specific mental health needs of each client, using compassionate listening and therapeutic techniques.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create personalized treatment plans that are actionable and goal-oriented, accounting for individual aspirations and challenges.

• Utilize various assessment tools to monitor and evaluate client progress, ensuring their evolving needs are met throughout their treatment journey.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate care and discuss complex cases for optimal client outcomes.

Your work will be rooted in a commitment to serving young adults facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.

• Diverse experience in mental health treatment, particularly with adolescent and young adult populations.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years’ experience in a counseling or therapeutic role involving direct client interaction is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and holistic treatment methodologies will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Highland Rivers Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
