Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with adult clients within an outpatient pain clinic setup, addressing their psychological needs related to chronic pain and injury recovery.

• Facilitate weekly psychoeducational classes focused on equipping clients with coping strategies and understanding of their conditions.

• Implement brief therapeutic interventions for clients participating in the Functional Restoration Program (FRP), monitoring and evaluating their progress throughout.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient on your active caseload.

• Utilize evidence-based practices in pain psychology to inform your clinical care, ensuring that interventions are rooted in effective methodologies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and make referrals to other relevant therapeutic modalities available within our clinic, thereby enhancing the care continuum.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all client interactions and interventions in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Your caseload will primarily consist of individuals who are managing both physical pain and psychological conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma stemming from workplace injuries. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be instrumental in facilitating their emotional recovery, fostering resilience, and supporting them in navigating the complexities of their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• An active California License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) is required for this role.
