Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of young clients, building rapport and maintaining professional boundaries in all client interactions.

• Conduct regular sessions to monitor progress, address stability concerns, and prepare for appropriate discharge planning.

• Develop, implement, and continuously revise person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
\n
• Complete timely documentation and maintain progress notes consistent with legal and organizational standards.
\n
• Carry out thorough intake assessments to identify client needs and establish suitable treatment pathways.
\n
• Conduct individual therapy sessions weekly, utilizing therapeutic techniques that resonate with youth populations.

• Engage in regular individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback from experienced professionals.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to create a comprehensive care approach for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will specifically focus on youth, including children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex emotional issues. The counselor will adopt a trauma-informed approach to understand the unique experiences of young clients, ensuring that they feel safe, respected, and heard during their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia.

• Willingness and ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for diverse clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients and/or those affected by substance abuse.

Compensation and Benefits\n
