Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic services to clients experiencing severe emotional disturbances or mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based approaches.

• Conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement interventions tailored to meet individual client needs.

• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and coordination of care, participating in regular team meetings and case reviews.

• Engage in crisis intervention and risk assessment, utilizing appropriate stabilization techniques and resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes, adhering to the ethical standards set forth by the organization.

• Create and present workshops or seminars on mental health resources and coping strategies for community members and clients’ families.

• Participate actively in committees focused on improving service delivery and the overall quality of care provided by The Mind Wellness Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with range from children to older adults, many of whom are navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges in a hospice setting. You will have the opportunity to provide individual, group, and family therapy, focusing on understanding their unique backgrounds, cultural contexts, and personal narratives. Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of New York.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related discipline; higher educational credentials are preferred.

• At least two years of professional experience in a clinical or community-based setting, with a strong focus on mental health.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
