The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to perform your duties from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a flexible work schedule. Our outpatient office cultivates a collaborative team dynamic through virtual meetings, ensuring that you remain connected with your colleagues and receive the support necessary to perform your role effectively. Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify effective treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and the enhancement of resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate recovery.
\n
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and achieve emotional healing.
\n
• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive the necessary assistance promptly.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms while guiding them through available mental health resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives centered around trauma-informed care.

• Continuously stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is assisting individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes survivors of domestic violence, childhood abuse, and individuals who have faced complex trauma situations. Our staff is trained to recognize the distinctive needs of trauma survivors, particularly those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and dissociative disorders. This specialization allows us to provide targeted therapeutic support aimed at promoting recovery and development.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a genuine commitment to fostering a non-judgmental atmosphere for patients.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications for documentation and communication.

• An ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field is preferred.

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
