Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations of patients to determine their mental health status.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that encompass therapeutic modalities best suited for each client, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based approaches.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, utilizing both individual and group settings to offer clients tools for managing their mental health challenges.

• Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and community resources, to provide comprehensive care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring timely documentation of all interactions and treatments provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Freedom Trail Counseling Center, you will serve a diverse clientele encompassing various mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. Your ability to connect with individuals from various cultural backgrounds and your commitment to culturally responsive care will be essential to supporting our clients effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.

• Strong proficiency in crisis intervention and a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy with culturally competent approaches.

• Familiarity with community resources and the ability to make referrals to other healthcare providers as needed.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
