Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough mental health assessments to understand the unique needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in your interventions.

• Coordinate care with child psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive treatment, ensuring all aspects of a patient's care are aligned.

• Educate patients and their families about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your practice will be on children and adolescents dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral disorders. You will play a critical role in offering therapeutic support within an outpatient setting, working closely with young patients and their families to promote optimal mental health and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• A current and valid licensure in New York state, such as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience working in the field of mental health is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
