Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations to identify the needs, strengths, and challenges of children and adolescents, using standardized assessment tools.

• Administer evidence-based therapies to address a wide range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral problems.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with child psychiatrists, social workers, and educational professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment and care.

• Provide crisis intervention services for children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and immediate support.

• Educate patients and families about mental health topics, treatment options, and available community resources to empower and involve them in the therapeutic process.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
