Work Environment\n

As a Remote Mental Health Therapist, you will have the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of our collaborative outpatient team. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to accommodate patient needs. This remote setup enables our professionals to balance their personal and professional lives while focusing on providing exceptional mental health services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional, behavioral, and cognitive needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider each child's developmental stage, cultural background, and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems therapy, to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers to create a nurturing home environment, enhancing the therapeutic outcomes for children.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including child psychiatrists and behavioral specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during mental health emergencies, equipping families with strategies and resources to manage these critical situations.

• Educate patients and their families about various mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources to foster understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient record-keeping.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education activities to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry.

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents ages 5 to 18, addressing a wide variety of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California, demonstrating your professional readiness to provide mental health services.

• A strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, alongside a mastery of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, showcasing your ability to connect therapeutically with young clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
