Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges facing children and adolescents during virtual consultations.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to deliver effective interventions to address conditions like anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary staff to ensure integrated and coordinated care, discussing treatment progress and making adjustments as necessary.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, helping families navigate acute challenges and ensuring safety.

• Educate families about mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and available community resources to enhance understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in alignment with legal regulations and ethical standards, employing effective electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively participate in case consultations and team meetings, where you will share insights, seek guidance from experts, and engage in continuous learning.

• Stay current with research and advancements in the field of child and adolescent mental health to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily serves children and adolescents experiencing a spectrum of mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. You will engage with young clients in a supportive, understanding manner, aiming to build rapport and trust to foster a therapeutic alliance. The focus will be on encouraging self-expression and resilience in our young patients, as well as addressing familial dynamics that impact their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches tailored to this demographic.

• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating an ability to relate effectively with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable navigating technology for remote therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
