Obiettivo Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and licensed Child and Adolescent Mental Health Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely while providing specialist mental health care to children and adolescents from the comfort of your own home. This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and comfort while working from home. While primarily working during standard business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the position may occasionally require evening hours based on patient schedules and needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the individual needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Design and implement customized treatment strategies, taking into account developmental phases, family dynamics, and cultural considerations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems therapy to address a wide range of psychological issues.

• Lead family therapy sessions to equip parents and guardians with the tools necessary to foster a nurturing environment conducive to their child’s mental health.
\n
• Engage in continuous collaboration with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal health outcomes for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention during urgent mental health situations, ensuring immediate support and appropriate referrals when necessary.

• Educate families about mental health challenges, effective treatments, and available community resources to empower them on their wellness journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure the integrity of patient care.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case discussions to share insights and continue professional growth.

• Stay abreast of current research, advancements, and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents experiencing various mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and other behavioral challenges. You will be working closely with these young clients and their families, providing not just therapeutic intervention but also guidance and education geared towards fostering a supportive environment for their development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience post-licensure is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and an array of therapeutic modalities is essential.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and capable of navigating necessary computer applications effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
