Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments that are culturally appropriate for children and adolescents, addressing mental health, substance abuse, and psychosocial concerns in a school setting.

• Facilitate effective counseling sessions for students, offering individual and group support for a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and family dynamics.
\n
• Document mental health evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and crisis interventions electronically, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
\n
• Act as a liaison between students, families, and educational staff, providing social work support, resources, and community referrals, including access to medication assistance programs.
\n
• Participate actively in meetings with educational and healthcare professionals to design and implement integrated care strategies that address the social-emotional needs of students.
\n
• Collaborate with our Quality Improvement teams to ensure effective data collection and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with school-aged children and their families, providing a supportive environment that promotes healing and personal growth. You will engage with a diverse student population dealing with various mental health challenges, allowing for a rich and rewarding experience in contributing to their development and stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

• Possession of an active LCSW license in Pennsylvania, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.

• Deep understanding of crisis intervention techniques and the ability to make independent decisions regarding counseling services.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective engagement with students, families, and school staff.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two (2) years of experience working in a mental health or clinical setting, particularly within educational or school-based environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
