Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) to inform diagnoses when necessary.

  Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and cultural diversity of each patient, focusing on their specific psychological and social conditions.

  Utilize evidence-based interventions and strategies to continually assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as required to enhance outcomes.

  Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and treatment records in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring the use of current technological tools to streamline processes.

  Collaborate with patients and relevant stakeholders—including family members and other healthcare providers—to develop a comprehensive and culturally competent care plan that promotes recovery and well-being.

  Coordinate referrals and provide seamless connections between patients and services, acting as a liaison with other clinicians and community resources as necessary.

  Engage in mentoring and training of students and interns, fostering the next generation of mental health professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will be equipped to work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment issues. Understanding the cultural and personal backgrounds of patients is crucial in delivering effective and personalized care. Engagement with clients via telehealth allows for a broader reach within the Los Angeles area, addressing the unique barriers and access issues in community mental health.

Qualifications\n

  A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

  A current, valid LCSW license to practice in California is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
