Our facility allows for a blend of inpatient admissions, daily outpatient consultations, and follow-up care, making it an exciting place for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured, three-week rotation: 1 week dedicated to outpatient care, 1 week focused on inpatient responsibilities, and 1 week for post-procedure follow-ups.
• Manage a caseload of 8 to 12 patients per day in both independent and shared clinic settings, ensuring comprehensive communication with patients and referring physicians.
• Engage in daily rounding of inpatients, conducting new consults and follow-ups, with a focus on providing safe and effective patient care.
• Independently perform patient evaluations, obtaining detailed histories and conducting physical exams to assess health issues pertinent to interventional radiology.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies where needed, while collecting specimens for routine lab tests and therapeutic procedures.
• Facilitate pre-procedure visits, informed consent processes, and coordinate with nursing and therapy services as necessary.
• Deliver only those services within your competency and refer cases exceeding your skill set to supervising physicians.
• Contribute to ongoing education and participate in training to enhance your clinical skills and patient care capabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals requiring interventional radiology services, ranging from acute conditions to chronic management and preventive care. As a PA, you will play a fundamental role in evaluating and treating patients with diverse health issues, ensuring that each patient receives personalized, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in a clinical or interventional radiology setting.
• Current and valid certification and licensure to practice as a PA in New York.
• Strong patient engagement skills and capacity to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient radiology or interventional procedures.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telemedicine platforms.
• Background in surgical or procedural support within a clinical context.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
