Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve directly as a clinical practitioner for clients experiencing symptoms related to major mental health issues, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

• Conduct thorough assessments and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address client needs, ensuring a person-centered approach focused on choice and empowerment.

• Participate in crisis interventions, providing immediate support to clients in distress and ensuring their safety and well-being.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a team of clinicians and other professionals to establish and track integrated care plans, enhancing continuity of care.

• Maintain documentation and administrative responsibilities including timely completion of progress reports, treatment plans, and compliance with ethical standards.

• Monitor and manage a caseload that includes individual assessment and therapy, while ensuring clients’ treatment services correspond with their presenting issues.

• Participate in regular staff meetings and quality improvement committees to enhance service delivery and contribute to the agency’s operational effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on clients who have experienced significant emotional challenges, often related to substance use and other mental health disorders. The successful candidate will engage with a diverse clientele, requiring cultural competency and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to suit the individual backgrounds and needs of the clients served.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current LCSW license to practice in Virginia.

• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning specific to mental health conditions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate treatment plans clearly to clients and colleagues.

• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Competency in age-related and specialty issues, with a tailored understanding of the developmental needs of each population served.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health settings, preferably working with clients experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders.

• Previous experience in crisis intervention and applying evidence-based practices in therapy.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and documentation requirements in a healthcare setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
