Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial interviews and thorough assessments, documenting clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health from start to finish of their treatment journey.

• Design and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, based on comprehensive evaluations.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to encourage client participation and progress.
\n
• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans to ensure the best outcomes based on ongoing assessments.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to develop holistic care strategies that meet each client’s unique needs.

• Follow up with healthcare providers for clients transitioning to inpatient care or post-treatment, ensuring continuity of care.

• Assist families and primary caregivers in managing challenges related to their loved ones’ mental health conditions, fostering an environment of support and understanding.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Your role is vital in helping clients overcome barriers to mental health recovery, facilitating meaningful change in their lives. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, with experience in platforms like AVATAR preferred.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, alongside exceptional interpersonal skills that promote trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor is highly desirable, specifically in community health settings or similar environments.

• Experience in addressing co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions.

• Familiarity with evidence-based techniques and the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
