Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and determine suitable treatment strategies.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that provide a safe space for patients to process trauma and develop essential coping mechanisms.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during episodes of trauma-related emergencies, enabling timely and effective response.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will include individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in helping these individuals navigate their challenges, with the ultimate goal of fostering healing, resilience, and empowerment throughout their recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• A strong theoretical and practical foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and ethical approach to patient care.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, ensuring patients feel safe and supported.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications pertinent to clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we also value the unique perspectives and skills each candidate can bring to our team. Experience with trauma-focused therapies will be particularly beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
