Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients, diagnosed with a range of medical conditions, to create individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results, ensuring timely intervention that aligns with best clinical practices.
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare management, encouraging adherence to treatment plans and facilitating smooth transitions of care.
• Implement and manage interdisciplinary care plans that address the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients.
• Maintain effective communication with parents, guardians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment.
• Document patient encounters accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards to ensure the highest quality of care delivery.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development in advanced nursing practices to improve clinical skills and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Cherish Care Wellness, you will provide care to a diverse population of pediatric patients, including those with acute and chronic conditions. You will focus on delivering holistic care that considers various factors affecting health, such as cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• A Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in pediatric care.
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP). Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) is preferred.
• Current BLS certification as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
• Valid New York state nursing license and adherence to state regulations.
• Five years of recent, relevant pediatric care experience, including specific experience in pediatrics within a clinical or hospital setting.

Preferred Experience

While five years of relevant experience is a requirement, candidates with advanced training and certifications in pediatric-focused areas, such as pediatric acute or critical care, are highly encouraged to apply. Experience working in an assisted living facility is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Cherish Care Wellness offers a competitive salary range of USD 126,000 to 150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a rewarding compensation package, we provide a comprehensive benefits program, which includes:
