Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and physical examinations to evaluate patient health status accurately.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, lab work, and other essential evaluations to inform diagnosis and treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to develop and implement comprehensive, patient-centered care plans.
• Prescribe medications and design treatment plans tailored to patients' specific needs and preferences, ensuring timely interventions.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families about disease prevention, management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Document patient encounters meticulously, maintaining complete and accurate medical records using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case conferences, offering insights into patient care progress and contributing to care coordination.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and overall healthcare delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Family Nurse Practitioner at FlexStaff Medical Center, you will serve a diverse patient population that includes individuals from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. You will play a crucial role in managing acute and chronic health conditions while prioritizing preventive care and health promotion across all age groups—from pediatric to geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, demonstrating a track record of making sound clinical decisions and delivering patient-centered care.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a relevant field, with a focus on advanced practice nursing.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare practices, procedures, and evidence-based protocols relevant to family medicine.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, along with proficiency in interpreting diagnostic tests to form effective treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication skills to provide clear guidance and support to patients and their families.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is essential for seamless documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with additional certifications in family medicine or related areas, as well as those who have participated in initiatives aimed at improving patient care and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

FlexStaff Medical Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
