Work Environment

The selected Physician Assistant will work primarily onsite in our busy hospital setting. The role demands a proactive approach to patient care with responsibilities that include seeing approximately 30 patients per day. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages, identifying health risks and creating individualized care plans.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions, using evidence-based practices to treat a wide range of ailments.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments as necessary, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, preventive health strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall wellness.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care, referrals to specialists, and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to strategies that enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest medical developments, treatment protocols, and best practices relevant to Internal Medicine.

Compensation and Benefits
