Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments, including gathering medical histories, performing physical examinations, and carrying out diagnostic evaluations to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to formulate and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, focusing on effective outcomes.
• Perform procedures and minor surgical interventions as necessary, while maintaining compliance with protocols under the supervision of attending physicians.
• Educate patients about their medical conditions, various treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to empower them toward optimal health and disease prevention.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date medical records that document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals seeking urgent care for acute conditions, minor injuries, preventative healthcare, and chronic disease management. Your role will include assessing and treating patients of all ages, requiring a keen understanding of varying medical needs and the ability to provide compassionate, individualized care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, with the competence to work independently within the scope of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a strong rapport with both patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
