The outpatient office setting ensures that you will have access to a dedicated support team while still having the autonomy to manage your assigned caseload effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with clients to discuss and identify their goals, preferences, and available options before formulating tailored rehabilitation plans.

• Create individualized rehabilitation plans based on each client's educational background, abilities, and career aspirations, ensuring they adapt as therapeutic needs evolve.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that may include physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists to design and implement client-specific rehabilitation programs that promote optimal recovery.
\n
• Document and maintain detailed case files for clients, ensuring accuracy in personal information, eligibility, insurance, treatment services provided, and ongoing client interactions.
\n
• Regularly monitor and assess client progress, adjusting care plans and therapeutic approaches based on individual client outcomes to facilitate successful rehabilitation efforts.
\n
• Maintain open communication with clients during participation in job training and occupational placement programs, addressing issues promptly to enhance their success.
\n
• Engage with clients’ families to create a support network that addresses the clients’ needs holistically.
\n
• Prepare timely documentation and reports analyzing client needs, progress, and recommendations for further resources and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse array of clients facing mental health and mood disorders. Your approach will consider the distinct challenges each client encounters, guiding them through individual treatment plans that respect their unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s Degree in a relevant field, such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health treatment to clients experiencing mood disorders in either residential or outpatient settings.

• Strong cooperative spirit and teamwork skills, exemplifying a commitment to fostering positive change within the community.

• Proficiency in clinical approaches including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
