Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring an accurate understanding of their mental health status.

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), addressing various mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their mental health journey.

• Monitor client progress actively throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment plans based on effectiveness and new developments.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive patient care, ensuring well-coordinated treatment approaches.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continuously inform and enhance your therapeutic approach.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
