Strategic Partnership Manager, SMB

Strategic Partner Manager – SMB Merchant Network As a Strategic Partner Manager in the SMB Merchant Network, you will manage a portfolio of our most critical accounts in priority markets. You will build strong relationships with partners, conduct regular business reviews, and optimize their Grubhub accounts to boost diner acquisition, drive conversion, and prevent churn. Impact You Will Make Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive retention, new diner acquisition, and revenue growth. Serve as the primary point of contact and internal advocate for your portfolio of strategic accounts. Provide an emergency contact for your accounts and remain available as needed. Identify and execute opportunities for upsell, cross‑sell, and expansion while managing renewal of all partner agreements. Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver tailored solutions and address complex challenges. Provide data‑driven insights and strategic guidance to help partners navigate the market and optimize performance. Travel to meet with top partners and attend key industry events. What You Bring to the Table Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and high school diploma/GED. Located in Los Angeles, CA. 4–6 years of account management or enterprise account management experience. Experience working with or selling to restaurant owners is a major plus; restaurant experience is also a plus. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google products) and ability to learn new software quickly. Experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM is a plus. Native‑level fluency in English is required; fluency in Mandarin or Spanish is strongly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Comfortable making outbound calls and traveling to speak with restaurants in person. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals. Self‑starter with a strong bias toward action and problem‑solving. Outstanding, positive attitude with aptitude for working in a fast‑paced, fast‑growing environment. Benefits Base salary ranging from $96,960 to $121,200, with on‑the‑job earnings potential up to $151,500 OTE. Uncapped commission. Equity and 401(k) plan. Multiple medical, dental, and vision plans. Hybrid work model: 3 days a week in the office, up to 5 days as desired.
