Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in achieving stress relief, relaxation, and enhanced emotional health.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, allowing for tailored mindfulness practices that address their specific needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques aimed at fostering self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stress management.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes on mindfulness, resilience-building strategies, and effective stress management practices.

• Incorporate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions, creating a personalized therapeutic experience that addresses the mental health concerns of clients.

• Regularly collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to create a cohesive and comprehensive treatment approach, ensuring the integration of mindfulness into all aspects of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Possession of a current and valid New York state licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
