Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to accurately assess their physical condition and functional abilities.
• Designing and implementing customized treatment programs tailored to each patient's unique needs, with an emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Delivering skilled therapeutic interventions to promote recovery, using evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities that align with each patient's plan of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and sports-related ailments. You will encounter and provide care to individuals of various ages and backgrounds, including children, adults, and seniors. This role will require you to adapt your treatment approach based on individual patient needs while remaining sensitive to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Compensation and Benefits
