The Life Mental State Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. This full-time position focuses on providing high-quality mental health care to teens and young adults in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Delivering Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging group sessions designed to build connections among clients and foster peer support. Your role will involve encouraging open dialogue, facilitating discussions, and providing strategies via structured therapeutic interventions.

• Conducting Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling sessions that allow clients to process their thoughts and feelings. You will develop individualized support plans focusing on empowering clients to uncover coping strategies that work best for them.
\n
• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients and their families to craft tailored treatment plans that align with their aspirations and needs. Your treatment plans will be data-driven and regularly updated based on progress and feedback.

• Monitoring Progress: Use specific assessment tools and client feedback to track individual progress over time. Regularly evaluate outcomes and adapt treatment approaches to ensure our clients make meaningful strides towards their goals.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, consisting of psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, ensuring coordinated care and comprehensive support for clients. Communicate effectively about client cases to determine the best tailored approach for treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse group of young adults and teenagers, between the ages of 18 and 30, who are navigating various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your empathetic approach will be integral to building trust and fostering an environment conducive to healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Active Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping others.
\n
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience\n

\n
• Previous experience in a mental health treatment setting, particularly with adolescents and young adults.
\n
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other holistic practices.

• Experience with developing treatment plans and progress evaluations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
