Key Responsibilities\n

The LPC in this role will:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the family therapy needs of individual clients and their families, ensuring tailored treatment plans.

• Engage in clinical staffing meetings, providing insights on family-centered treatment strategies and participating in the development of individualized service/treatment plans.
\n
• Deliver individual, group, and joint counseling sessions, utilizing a family-centered approach and collaborating with other therapeutic disciplines as needed.

• Facilitate educational groups focused on substance abuse and mental health, addressing family dynamics and providing practical coping strategies.
\n
• Handle comprehensive clinical documentation, including progress notes, patient assessments, and treatment plans, maintaining accuracy and timeliness in compliance with organizational policies.

• Coordinate with other professionals and agencies to enhance the effectiveness of treatment and ensure a supportive network for clients.

• Contribute to program development by identifying areas for improvement and actively participating in quality enhancement initiatives.

• Stay up to date with the latest clinical practices by maintaining necessary licensure and engaging in continual professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The main focus of this position will be adults dealing with substance use disorders, often compounded by underlying trauma or mental health issues. As a Family Therapist, you will work closely with clients and their families to foster communication, resilience, and understanding, ultimately facilitating healthier family dynamics and recovery paths.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona.

• A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in counseling, especially within a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated understanding of family therapy, trauma-informed care, and substance misuse treatment methodologies.

• Strong ethical judgment and familiarity with legal standards related to counseling practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with diverse clientele.

• Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other therapy-related technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, dependent on experience and caseload availability.
