Experienced ENT Physician Assistant - Full-Time Role in Surgical Center

Kaweah Healthcare is searching for a compassionate and experienced ENT Physician Assistant to join our dedicated medical team in Reno, Nevada. Work Environment

The Surgical Center offers an onsite work setting where you will engage directly with patients, physicians, and support staff. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, amounting to approximately 40 hours a week, though some on-call responsibilities may be included to ensure 24/7 emergency care is available. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including taking patient histories and performing physical examinations.
• Diagnose ENT conditions and collaborate with supervising physicians to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Order and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies or laboratory work, to accurately assess patient needs.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records using our electronic health record system.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Stay informed about current research and advancements in ENT practices to enhance clinical performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population ranging from children to older adults, each presenting unique ENT conditions such as sinusitis, allergies, hearing loss, and more complex surgical cases. Your dedication to compassionate care will significantly impact their health outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Nevada.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.

• Effective communication skills to clearly convey medical information to patients and families.
• Dedication to ongoing professional growth and adherence to continued medical education requirements.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant in an outpatient ENT or similar clinical setting.
• Specialized training in ENT procedures and familiarity with the latest diagnostic and treatment modalities in otolaryngology.

Compensation and Benefits
