Key Responsibilities

As a Dermatology Physician Assistant, you will carry out a range of crucial duties to ensure high-quality patient care:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess dermatological conditions affecting patients of all ages.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic procedures including skin analyses and cultures.
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising dermatologists.
• Document patient histories, symptoms, and treatment progress with attention to detail in electronic health records.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests that aid in managing patient care and treatment strategies.
• Maintain a patient-centered approach, building rapport and trust while providing education on treatment options and preventive care.
• Participate in maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations and established office protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for this role:

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a dermatology or relevant healthcare setting.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Nevada.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse patient populations.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record systems to document patient information.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with additional experience in dermatological procedures, cosmetic dermatology, or surgical techniques will be given preference. Experience with billing and coding in a dermatology practice will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
