Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals.

• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions via telehealth, ensuring each session is conducted in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Document client progress in electronic health record (EHR) systems, preparing detailed case notes and progress reports in accordance with organizational standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create continuity of care and refer clients to additional services as needed.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge, particularly in short-term individual and group therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at West Valley Psychiatric Services, you will primarily support a diverse clientele comprising teens, adults, and families, including those facing challenges related to trauma, grief, LGBTQ+ issues, and perinatal mental health. Your capacity to engage with clients from various cultural backgrounds will be crucial in providing effective and respectful care tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with strong written, oral, and non-verbal communication skills necessary for delivering bilingual psychotherapy.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health setting with diverse clients.
\n
• A demonstrated respect for the individual and cultural needs of families, coupled with the ability to form therapeutic alliances across differing backgrounds.
\n
• Willingness to provide services as an in-network provider for at least one insurance panel.
\n
• A valid Driver's License and current car insurance.
\n
• Strong motivation for professional growth, with a willingness to learn and adapt therapeutic strategies to meet the evolving needs of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Prior training in evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR).

• Experience utilizing EHR software and Microsoft Office Suite effectively.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and conducting remote sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
