Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess client needs through comprehensive evaluations, establishing evidence-based therapy strategies tailored to individual goals.

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical and organizational standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment plans, and strategies for improving care delivery.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay attuned to the latest trends and best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC with Core Care Psychological Services, you will work primarily with underserved individuals and families facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and more. Your holistic and individualized approach to therapy will be pivotal in driving successful outcomes and promoting overall well-being for clients who may lack access to traditional mental health resources.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.

• Proven understanding of legal and ethical standards within clinical practice.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse client populations.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and consult with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technological tools.
