Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive individual therapy sessions to adult clients in a virtual pain clinic, tailored to enhance their coping strategies and emotional well-being.

• Lead weekly psychoeducational workshops that equip participants with knowledge and skills to manage chronic pain and associated emotional distress.

• Offer short-term therapeutic support to participants in the Functional Restoration Program (FRP), closely assessing their progress and providing necessary clinical adjustments.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that align with the specific needs and goals of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based practices in pain psychology to inform clinical care decisions and interventions.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers within the clinic, referring patients to additional therapeutic modalities as indicated.

• Ensure all client interactions and treatment plans are meticulously documented within our EMR system, maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your caseload will primarily consist of clients who are experiencing emotional challenges related to chronic pain, trauma, and significant life changes due to their health conditions. Many clients may be dealing with anxiety, depression, or trauma associated with their medical conditions, and your role will heavily focus on building a therapeutic alliance to help them navigate these challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current and active California LCSW license.
\n
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in providing therapeutic interventions for populations grappling with chronic pain and psychological conditions.

• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
