As a remote position, you will be primarily based at a detox center while enjoying the flexibility of telehealth services for select clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients upon admission to craft tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness strategies, in both individual and group sessions.

• Coordinate with case managers and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that integrates mental, emotional, and social factors influencing client recovery.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations by providing immediate support and developing safety plans to manage acute distress.

• Engage in community outreach programs to enhance awareness and understanding of mental health issues, ensuring that care extends beyond the clinical setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support clients in a detox center, many of whom are experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. You will work with a diverse population ranging from adolescents to adults, tailoring your approach to meet the varying needs of individuals from different cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds. Your expertise is crucial in fostering an environment where clients feel safe and understood, promoting recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• An active and independent license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A completed master’s degree or doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that allow for establishing rapport and building therapeutic relationships with clients effectively.

• Demonstrated cultural competence, enabling you to work proficiently with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a clinical setting, particularly within substance abuse treatment or detox facilities, is preferred.

• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client sessions and outcomes efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
