In this role, you will leverage your expertise in mental health to provide high-quality counseling services remotely through telehealth platforms. Your primary focus will be on supporting individuals, particularly women, teens, and children affected by domestic violence, ensuring they receive the support necessary for healing and growth.

Work Environment\n

As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of our counseling team. This position requires both virtual engagement with clients and participation in in-office team meetings and supervision sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify treatment goals tailored to individual client needs.

• Provide individual and group therapy for teens and adults, utilizing evidence-based approaches to facilitate healing.

• Maintain transparent and organized records of all counseling cases, ensuring ethical standards regarding confidentiality and documentation.

• Offer crisis intervention and emotional support, developing immediate strategies to assist clients in distress.

• Engage actively in clinical supervision meetings to receive feedback and share insights, ensuring continuous professional development.

• Facilitate referrals to community resources and services that align with the counseling goals of clients.

• Participate in monthly data reporting and fulfill administrative responsibilities associated with client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals suffering from the impacts of domestic violence. Your clients will include teenage girls navigating trauma and adults seeking to rebuild their lives after harmful experiences. You will also have the opportunity to provide play therapy for children, establishing a safe space for them to express their feelings and develop coping skills. Your work will have a profound impact on their recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active LPCC license is essential for this role, allowing you to practice in California.

• Strong understanding of the therapeutic needs of clients affected by domestic violence is vital.

• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to professional ethical standards.

• Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and participation in supervision for professional growth.

• Availability to work late afternoons (3 PM - 8 PM) at least two evenings per week.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
