Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments, utilizing diagnostic tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), to formulate individualized care plans that respect cultural diversity and align with the unique needs of the population served.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment strategies based on patient progress and feedback.

• Maintain meticulous treatment records and clinical documentation using modern technology, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

• Collaborate closely with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans that outline measurable goals and desired outcomes.

• Facilitate referrals to relevant external agencies or specialists, ensuring patients have access to a broad spectrum of support services.

• Engage in education and mentoring for students, interns, and volunteers, fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization.

• In support of team development, participate in peer review and clinical collaboration as guided by supervisory leadership.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will predominantly serve individuals and families impacted by cancer. You will provide compassionate support, focusing on addressing mental health diagnoses related to cancer treatments, emotional distress, and navigating the complexities of living with cancer. An understanding of the unique challenges faced by this demographic, including grief, anxiety, and adjustment issues, will be critical in delivering effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandated for practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
