Easy Start Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Saint Cloud, Florida. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in managing patient rehabilitation, particularly focusing on outpatient orthopedics with an emphasis on spine surgery. Work Environment

Located in the heart of Saint Cloud, Florida, our rehabilitation facility promotes a supportive and dynamic atmosphere. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff, to implement comprehensive treatment plans. Our onsite environment allows for hands-on interaction with patients, which plays a crucial role in effective rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' needs and capabilities, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Implement and monitor therapy programs aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional abilities, particularly post-spine surgery.
• Liaise with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to discuss progress and address any concerns.
• Adhere to established quality standards, ensuring that all practices comply with relevant laws and departmental policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and treatments, utilizing electronic health record systems effectively.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and rehabilitation exercises to enhance recovery.
• Participate actively in community health initiatives to promote wellness and preventive care practices among residents.
• Demonstrate and promote safe patient handling techniques, ensuring patient and clinician safety at all times.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on best practices and advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population you will work with includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, particularly spinal procedures, as well as patients with various musculoskeletal conditions. You will have the opportunity to positively impact their rehabilitation journey by providing personalized care and fostering a supportive healing environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program, holding a BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (Graduates from 2003 onward must possess an MSPT or DPT).
• Current and active physical therapy license in the state of Florida, with ongoing compliance to maintain good standing throughout employment.
• Certification in CPR upon hire, with the requirement to keep certification current during employment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient therapy, specifically working with orthopedic patients.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance patient care and documentation.
• Skills in effective communication and relationship-building with patients and their support systems.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting the importance of your role and expertise. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
