Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate with a small, dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). The work setting promotes teamwork and innovation, allowing therapists to share knowledge and techniques while focusing on providing superior patient care. The facility is equipped to handle a variety of patient needs, incorporating advanced methodologies that align with the latest in sports medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs, goals, and potential barriers to recovery.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities suited to each patient's condition.
• Provide treatment for 2-3 patients per hour, incorporating hands-on techniques, functional training, and education on injury prevention.
• Employ manual therapy skills to enhance patient outcomes and promote healing, using tailored approaches based on each patient's unique circumstances.
• Explore non-surgical options and reduce reliance on prescription medications, emphasizing holistic and sustainable recovery pathways.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, analyzing treatment results, documenting services provided, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Foster a supportive and motivating environment that encourages patients to engage actively in their therapy and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with other medical specialists and team members to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals recovering from surgical procedures, and those seeking to enhance their overall mobility and strength. Qualifications

• Active State Physical Therapist License with no board or disciplinary action.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Strong manual therapy skills and familiarity with therapeutic modalities essential for outpatient care.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to manage patient documentation and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective fitness and wellness regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with multidimensional healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits
