Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately assess client symptoms and diagnosis, evaluating the severity and duration of mood disorder challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to empower clients in managing and overcoming their mood disorders.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment continuum, modifying treatment strategies as needed based on real-time feedback.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated treatment model.

• Stay informed on the latest clinical research and advancements in mental health treatment to continuously improve service delivery and client outcomes.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of clinical sessions, complying with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with clients who are experiencing mood disorders, particularly focusing on adults dealing with depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Your role is pivotal in not only assisting individuals through their personal challenges but also in providing a space for growth and understanding, fostering long-term mental health stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Proficient in using evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, along with a solid understanding of psychopharmacology.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with clients and the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
